This notice explains how Tributom Limited (“Tributom”, “we”, “us”) uses personal data collected through this website, www.tributom.com. It does not cover the Tributom One platform or our advisory services: clients of either receive a separate privacy notice with their agreement.
Who we are
Tributom Limited is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16385920) with its registered office at 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX. We are the controller of the personal data described here. You can contact us about this notice or your data at email@tributom.com.
What we collect
- Enquiries. When you request a demo or a consultation we collect what you enter in the form: your name, email address, organisation, role, telephone number (consultations), the type and size of your organisation, the services you are interested in and the details you choose to share.
- Technical data. Our hosting provider records the information any web server receives, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running.
- Preferences. Your choice of light or dark mode is stored in your own browser. It is not sent to us.
We do not use analytics or advertising tools on this website, and we do not buy personal data or sell it.
How we use it, and our lawful basis
- To respond to your enquiry, arrange a demo or consultation and assess whether we can help, on the basis of our legitimate interests in responding to people who contact us, and where you are considering becoming a client, to take steps at your request before entering into a contract.
- To send you an automatic email confirming that your enquiry has arrived, on the basis of our legitimate interests in letting you know it reached us.
- To keep the website secure and working, on the basis of our legitimate interests.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations, including those of a firm regulated by the ICAEW, where they apply.
We will not send you marketing emails unless you have asked us to, and you can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We share personal data only with service providers who process it on our behalf and under our instructions:
- Microsoft, which hosts this website on Microsoft Azure and processes enquiry form submissions;
- Microsoft (Microsoft 365), our email provider, through which enquiries are delivered to our team and your confirmation email is sent to you.
We may also disclose personal data where the law requires it, or to professional advisers bound by confidentiality.
International transfers
Enquiry form submissions are processed by Microsoft in the United States. Microsoft is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension, and transfers are also covered by Microsoft's data protection terms, which include the international data transfer safeguards approved for UK data. Website pages are delivered from Microsoft's network locations around the world.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case your data is held under the terms of your agreement. Server records kept by our hosting provider are held for the short period it needs for security and operations.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to request access to your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email email@tributom.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
